CVPS wants you to pay more for electricity. And, of course, you don't mind since times are good and everyone is making more money.
Now the utility may have a solid case to back up the request for a rate increase but one still wonders how much the legislative requirement to buy expensive renewable power figures in. There are, after all, other utilities that are asking for rate increases precisely because they are buying greener power.
The green stuff isn't cheap.
