The retirement funds for teachers and state workers are short $31 million due to investment losses over the last two years. This is a near-term problem and troubling.
The long-term outlook, on the other hand, is terrifying.

Maybe they should check their party affiliation cards; start voting with their heads, not on some poltroon's promise. Anymore, the two parties are one and the both the same.
And while they're at it, check Dorta's retirement package. Don't you wonder how the union's fund is doing?
