A Nugget From The Health care Bill
by

Both the House and the Senate have now produced sweeping health care bills. Both are chambers of horrors – taxing, mandating, regulating, rationing, underpaying providers, and much more. But here’s one provision in the House bill that ought to get your attention: Listen to these words carefully:
On page 58 you find this statement about electronic health record keeping: The government mandated system should “enable the real-time (or near real time) determination of an individual’s financial responsibility at the point of service and, to the extent possible, prior to service, including whether the individual is eligible for a specific service with a specific physician at a specific facility, which may include utilization of a machine-readable health plan beneficiary identification card;..."
OK, the government will issue you a card. You have to present it when seeking health care. The card informs the provider who’s liable for paying for the medical service. Well, nothing wrong with that.
But then the government card tells the provider whether you are eligible for a specific service, such as a cataract operation or a hip replacement. How does the government know to put that on your card? Because the government makes rules for deciding who can be allowed to have certain services. The card also tells whether the government has approved the specific physician and the specific hospital to provide the service.
This pretty much sums up the socialized medicine vision contained in the Democratic health care bills.

Margaret Sanger's handpicked successor is in charge of this program. The mantra is keep the costs down!
Certainly the place to start is reducing school costs, children with autism, disabilities, ADD, MS and other assorted aches and pains will join Gran & Paw in the 'waiting" area of the hospice. The card will have the info. Blond and blue eyes excepted.
Next area of improvement is recycling: Soylent Green, No GMO's for Vermonters.
All the Liberal/Prog/dogooders like to say Fascism will come marching in behind Christ on a Cross and a Morality play.
I don't think so, it looks like the Reichsadler is coming in emblazoned on a health care card.

This is exactly what private plans have now. Are you advocating that anyone should be able to get any medical treatment without any financial responsibility?
