Brattleboro and Newfane, the villages full of idiots. Someone needs to apologize to the NRC and quick, before VY's license expires. And folks from down country wonder why I pack a pistol in my pocket.

Ed G. Mann

Our idiot wandered away here in Waltham, we had no idea where he went. Put up posters on poles and at the 7 & 17 store with no luck.

Well, you found him; you can keep him. He's too stupid to find his way home and he's not worth the gas to get.

Lazarus Long

Sally might not be so glib if she received a knuckle sandwich for her troubles.

G. Cross

Be careful of that pistol in your pocket when you hit all those potholes. Oh, I forgot you tend to only travel on the other side of the bridge. No potholes over there I am sure.

GreenVTster

I think you miss the point of most Vermonters' concerns. On one hand, the safety and maintenance issues are piling up repeatedly with less then forthcoming reactions from Entergy and the Governor's office, and on the other hand, those two parties are collaborating to get Entergy off the hook for post-shutdown cleanup. Citing NRC's good reviews misses the point.

GreggB

GreenVTster if Vters beef is with the Gov. and Entergy why assault the NRC with cow crap?

Karen Kerin

Such behavior is an assault and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I notice that the tea party folks had no bad behvior. Hmm! That says something doesn't it?

RFC

You gotta understand something about these "green" protesters. Where most normal folks use logic, these strange people substitute emotion because there ain't no logic in their actions. Besides, just like the rest of us, they need an occasional release, It's just their way of achieving orgasms.

Quotes

  • Only a crisis—actual or perceived— produces real change. When that crisis occurs, the actions that are taken depend on the ideas that are lying around. That, I believe, is our basic function: to develop alternatives to existing policies, to keep them alive and available until the politically impossible becomes politically inevitable .... (Milton Friedman)
