David Mamet is one of America's most prolific and celebrated dramatists and screenwriters. He has a Vermont connection -- was educated at Goddard and has owned property here. Yesterday, he published this account of how his political thinking has evolved.
The title of the essay is "Why I Am No Longer a Brain-Dead Liberal."
If Vermont issued passports, Mamet's would have already been revoked.
