You know that it has to be some kind of special day when Americans eat 8,000,000 pounds of avocado. Which may account for why the sales of antacids will increase by 20% this weekend. Or maybe that stuff is being consumed by the losers of $100,000,000 in legal action at Las Vegas casinos. That is estimated to be one percent of the total worldwide wagering (legal and illegal) on this event.
Impressive. But not as impressive as ... 8 million pounds of avocado.
