That's why I think Arlen Specter can go suck an egg. Check out the Boston Herald article on the Specter specter hanging over the Super Bowl. Specter wants the NFL to hand over the "Spygate" tapes.
Isn't Arlen Specter the guy who thinks we should just accept his single-bullet theory of the JFK assassination? Forget the Zapruder film. We should just keep looking at the Patriots film. Over and over. Maybe we can see the Jets keep going back and to the left. Or back and to the right, depending on where Brady threw the ball.
My point is that football is a game. Arlen Specter should enjoy the game. And then on Monday, he should go back to doing the important business of the Senate.
Gee whiz...you're opposed to *moderate* Republican Sen. Spector...what a surprise Mr. Hier. While I was surprised that what the Pats apparently did in the first place was actually illegal in the NFL, there's no sense continuing to cover it up.

Mr. Specter, please spend more time twisting Pat Leahy's arm so that more judges can get confirmed, and stop worrying about if the Eagles or Steelers got screwed.
