The Freeps blog today describes Speaker Symington's tour of St. Johnsbury Academy during their NECAP testing. She took the opportunity to criticize standardized testing while mentioning that, by the way, Vermont schools are doing well on them. My favorite of the comments? "Being tops in the nation in education is like having the best cabin on the Titanic."
