Senator Sanders, in today's Rutland Herald, makes the same points he has been making for the past thirty years--things are getting worse for the middle class. His solution is more government programs to address the problem (which I always find interesting, coming from a man who believes that the government is controlled by the very corporate interests that he complains about). The Herald could perform a public service by publishing this post by economist Russell Roberts, which looks at the same issues in a thoughtful way.
